Anna Paquin & Terrence Howard Star In Electric Dreams

Channel 4 has announced that Anna Paquin (True Blood) and Terrence Howard (Empire) will star in an episode of Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams, entitled Real Life.

The series will feature ten episodes inspired by Philip K. Dick’s renowned short stories, adapted and contemporised for global audiences by leading British and American writers. Each episode will be a standalone drama that will serve to illustrate Philip K. Dick’s prophetic vision whilst celebrating the enduring appeal of his work.

In Real Life, written by Ronald D. Moore (Outlander) and directed by Jeffrey Reiner (The Affair), Sarah (Anna Paquin) is a policewoman living in the future who shares headspace with game designer George (Terrence Howard).

Both Sarah and George are pursuing violent killers whose plans could have shattering consequences and,
in a race against time, they learn that the hidden bond they share not only connects them but can also destroy them.

Rounding out the cast of Real Life are Rachelle Lefevre (Under The Dome), Lara Pulver (Sherlock), Jacob Vargas (Luke Cage), Sam Witwer (Once Upon A Time), and Guy Burnet (Hand of God).

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams will air later this year on Channel 4 in the UK, and on Amazon in the US.
