BBC Three Orders Second Season Of Clique

BBC Three has ordered a six-part second season of Clique, written by Jess Britain (Skins), which will continue to explore the power of friendship between intensely ambitious young people on the cusp of a dangerous adult world.

Living in a house share with Louise (Sophia Brown), Holly is trying to put the past behind her. However, she attracts the attention of a clique of libertarian renegades with a no-nonsense attitude to what they see as a patronising university administration.

When the smart and magnetic young men become embroiled in a campus-wide scandal, Holly is torn between them and the feeling that something darker is at play. Meanwhile, obsessive psychopath Rachel (Rachel Hurd-Wood) is still keeping a watchful eye on her.

Jess Brittain says: “I’m so excited to return to Holly’s intense, loyal and dangerous world. Clique is a show with female friendship as its heart, but a new clique of unknowable young men is definitely taking us to some new and interesting places.”

Clique season two begins filming in Edinburgh this Spring.
