Star Writers Confirmed For C4’s Philip K. Dick Anthology

Channel 4 has confirmed five more writers for its ten part anthology series, Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick, based on the short stories of sci-fi novelist Philip K. Dick.

Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), Jack Thorne (Harry Potter & The Cursed Child), Matthew Graham (Life on Mars), Kelly Marcel (50 Shades of Grey) and David Farr (The Night Manager) will join the writing line-up along with previously announced Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica) and Michael Dinner (Justified).

Each episode will be a standalone drama adapted and contemporised for global audiences, and will serve to illustrate Philip K. Dick’s prophetic vision whilst celebrating the enduring appeal of his work. Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) is confirmed to appear in the series but further casting has not yet been announced.

Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick goes into production in early 2017. It will premiere on Channel 4 in the UK with international distribution provided by Sony Pictures Television.
