Steve Buscemi & Greg Kinnear Star In Electric Dreams

Channel 4 has announced that Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) and Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets) are to star in episodes of Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.

The series will feature ten episodes inspired by Philip K. Dick’s renowned short stories, adapted and contemporised for global audiences by leading British and American writers. Each episode will be a standalone drama that will serve to illustrate Philip K. Dick’s prophetic vision whilst celebrating the enduring appeal of his work.

In Crazy Diamond, written by Tony Grisoni (The Young Pope) and directed by Marc Munden (National Treasure), Ed Morris (Steve Buscemi) is approached by a gorgeous synthetic woman with an illegal plan that could change his life. But when he decides to help his world begins to crumble.

In Father Thing, written and directed by Michael Dinner (Sneaky Pete), the world is under attack as aliens quietly replace humans. But when the Father Thing attempts to be just like young Charlie’s dad (Greg Kinnear), he is not fooled for a second. He must protect his mother (Mireille Enos) and the human race.

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams will air later this year on Channel 4 in the UK, and on Amazon in the US.
